Cab Franc Forward Wine Dinner at the Marshal

Cab Franc Forward is more than a wine dinner theme; it is a statewide movement built around the belief that Cabernet Franc deserves to be recognized as New York’s flagship red grape. Founded by leaders from Long Island, the Hudson Valley, and the Finger Lakes, the group brings together producers who see Cabernet Franc as a shared thread across New York’s best wine regions: elegant, expressive, food-friendly, and unmistakably suited to the state’s climate and soils.

This dinner offers a rare chance to taste that mission in one evening. All eight founding members are represented, showing the grape’s range from sparkling and rosé to structured, age-worthy reds. Because the evening includes two additional wines and an extra course compared with the other seven dinners, it is priced $25 higher—a reflection of the evening’s slightly grander experience.
